The strings of guitar take me back into its hollow recesses of time,
Revisit the lush green grass of the past as I slide into the dark wooden chamber,
Black music notes floating in on a wave illuminate the sunshine for me,
The piano keys begin to float in,
beginning with a simple chord,
The violin enters; – one string on it I see – a string of my heart,
[Curled up on the curved oak floor of my friend’s guitar,]
The flute floats in on a half black wind,
Carries it to side left,
Begins its melody; expected to be least: yet thin and high beauty emerge,
Ukulele floats into darkness,
all in one piece,
adds harmony to the left side of my song.
The drums float about, perched on the edge, yet never setting in,
Heart strings reflecting the beauty of my heart,
This is my song,
The strings of eternity
